Frequently asked questions
Below are answers to frequently asked questions to help you understand the feature.
What do I do if I incorrectly match a resource and onboard a resource to the wrong username or Security User record?
In this scenario, the recently onboarded resource doesn’t have a separate Security User record. Instead, the Resource record is tied to an existing Security User record for a different resource.
To accomplish your task, complete these steps from your Enterprise dashboard.
- When you know that timesheets haven’t been submitted or approved on an assignment for the resource, use Simple Search to locate the assignment. Then use the Cancel link in the Assignment Menu section of the Assignment Details page to terminate the assignment.
- When timesheets have been submitted or approved on an assignment for the resource, change the status of those timesheets to Not Submitted and then complete step 1 to cancel the assignment.
- Select Manage/Search > Resource Pool. Next, locate the Resource record on the Resource Pool Search page. Then choose Delete Selected to remove the Resource record.
- Copy every detail of the original record except for the Beeline ID and create a new Resource record for the resource. Enter different unique data for the Beeline ID.
- Onboard the newly created Resource record to a new assignment with the same details as the cancelled assignment.
- If timesheet were previously submitted or approved, resubmit the timesheets under the new assignment.
What do I do if I forget to match a resource, and a new Security User record is created?
Cancel the assignment for the resource you recently onboarded. Then resubmit the resource and be sure to select the Show Matching Candidates link on the Candidate Submitted to Client page.
Is resource matching supported for Independent Contractors?
