Integrate your Beeline Background Check process with Accurate!

Beeline offers an integration with Accurate© that simplifies managing background checks and employment screenings. Your Suppliers can quickly initiate background check orders from their Beeline platform and leverage Accurate’s smart background check APIs for results.

Currently, Beeline supports only Supplier-initiated and Supplier-funded background check integrations with Accurate. If your organization initiates and funds background checks instead of your Suppliers, contact your Relationship Manager.

Action Required: Integrating your Beeline Extended Workforce Platform with Accurate requires:

  • An existing contract and account with Accurate before you engage Beeline to facilitate an integration.
  • Your program team and an Accurate team.
  • A Make a Change ticket and discussions with your Client Operations Manager (COM).
  • A series of configuration, workflow, and API updates.
  • Detailed UAT and change management prior to integrating Accurate in your production environment; especially if your organization currently uses a manual background check process.

In addition, your MSP or PMO must configure or import Accurate account details for each Supplier in your Beeline platform via Self-Service. For instructions, see the Background Check Provider Accurate Integration Administrator Guide.

Q1 2021

Quickly see when an assignment miscellaneous fee was processed

Hiring Managers, MSPs, PMOs, and Suppliers can quickly identify whether a miscellaneous fee associated an active assignment has been processed. The Invoiced Date field in the Transaction section on the Assignment Misc Fee and the Misc Fee Edit pages shows users the date and time the fee was processed. TIP: The fee must be in a Processed status. To navigate to the Transaction section on an Assignment Misc Fee page, take these steps:

  1. Locate and drill down into the assignment you want to view.
  2. Select View More>Misc Fee from the Assignment Menu.
  3. In the Generated Misc Fees section on the Assignment Misc Fee page, select the Effective Date link.
  4. Scroll down to the Transaction History section where you can view the invoiced date.

Action Required: First open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) about updating your Beeline platform to support this enhancement. Your COM must also grant the applicable users permissions to manage miscellaneous fees.

Q2 2021

Import miscellaneous fees to a Pending status

MSPs and PMOs can use the Web Import tool to import miscellaneous fees to a Pending status.

As an MSP or PMO using the Web Import tool to import your miscellaneous fees, make sure you take these steps before importing fees with a Pending status.

  1. First, change the status of the fees in your import template file from Pending to ReadyForValidation.
  2.  Next, follow your standard process for importing miscellaneous fee using Beeline’s Web Import tool.

TIP:   Be sure to input the status as ReadyForValidation without spaces. When the fees are processed after you import them, the status will be changed to Pending and the fees will be associated with the applicable approval workflow for further processing through your Beeline platform.

Action Required: First open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) to configure or update miscellaneous fee settings for your organization.

Your COM must also grant the applicable users permissions to manage miscellaneous fees. Then your MSP or PMO can import fees via Self-Service.

Miscellaneous fees support large digital currency formats

To ensure quick processing of miscellaneous fees with large digital currency formats, your Beeline platform can be configured to accept miscellaneous fees that are 15 digits in length with 2 decimal points, for example 123,456,789,123,456.99. This enhancement improves your Hiring Managers, MSPs and PMOs experience with submitting or importing miscellaneous fees.

By default, miscellaneous fees can be no greater than 6 digits in length with 2 decimal points. If your organization wants to use the new limit, contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) to update this setting.

Action Required: First open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) about configuring or updating miscellaneous fee settings for your organization.

Q3 2021

Miscellaneous Fee Budget Validation updates

Your Beeline platform can be configured to validate the amount of a miscellaneous fee against the assignment budget when the fee is invoiced. This new option ensures that miscellaneous fees are charged to a Supplier are correctly processed and invoiced and prevents the potential occurrence of a negative assignment budget caused by a submitted or reprocessed miscellaneous fee.

When your Beeline platform is configured with the new validation, Hiring Manager, MSPs and PMOs viewing invoiced miscellaneous fees charged to a Supplier, will see that a credit was processed and added to the assignment budget and the assignment budget is increased.

Action Required: If your organization is already configured to use the Include Misc Fees in Budget Validation option, this update is automatically available.

If your organization is not using the Include Misc Fees in Budget Validation option, set up is required. First open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) about configuring the miscellaneous fee budget validation option for your organization.

Q4 2021

Easily manage numerous financials

Managing statements of work (SOWs) and bids can involve overseeing hundreds of milestones and units of measure (UoMs) over the term of the engagement. As a user with access to SOWs and bids, you can leverage these enhancements to easily create, manage and navigate copious financials associated with an SOW, a competitive bid or a bid.

  • Quickly search for a specific milestone or UoM using the Search panel available on the Financials tab when you select View Details to drill down into an SOW. The Search panel is expandable and supports lookups by these criteria:
    • Name
    • Type
    • Start date range
    • End date range
    • Gross Amount
    • Cost Center

In addition, you can sort data using the Name, Type and Gross Amount column headers on the Financial list on the Financial tab.

These enhancements improve your experience by taking less time and fewer clicks to navigate SOW financials, which reduces administrative overhead. These enhancements are automatically available in your Services Procurement solution.

TIP:  User types who can manage services procurement financials vary by program and organization.

Empower Suppliers to manage milestone-level taxes

Occasionally, work locations and tax job categories for a milestone need to be different from the parent statement of work (SOW). For example, work related to a milestone could be completed in or delivered to a different location than the SOW.

The Services Procurement solution already allows Clients to set a different work location and tax job category on a milestone. Now Suppliers can also be granted access to manage milestone-level taxes that vary by work location and tax job category.

Action Required: First, open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) about updating your Services Procurement solution to support this enhancement. Your COM must also grant the applicable Suppliers permissions to manage milestone-level taxes.

Q1 2021

Introducing—the Hiring Manager launchpad and apps!

Select the Try New Experience button on your current Dashboard, and you’re redirected to the new launchpad with microapps. Although the Try New Experience button automatically displays on your dashboard, using the Hiring Manager launchpad and microapps is optional. You can exit your new experience any time you like, just close your browser tab.

TIP:  The Try New Experience button is on by default and automatically available to Hiring Managers after your organization migrates to Auth0. The Try New Experience button is also visible to all users under Client and MSP organizations. Clients and MSPs can take the Tour, familiarize themselves with the launchpad and microapps, and educate Hiring Managers about the new experience.

The launchpad gives you centralized access to these five microapps: Approvals, Assignments, Create, Review Candidates, and Quick Reports. Easily identify tasks you need to do using the Activity icon in each microapp. Start your task by clicking a microapp, and then follow the simple workflows to quickly get the job done.

TIP:  Currently, the Hiring Manager launchpad and microapps do not support all the tasks you do from Beeline Enterprise as a Hiring Manager.

Introducing—Beeline Assistant!

As a Hiring Manager, MSP or PMO, completing your daily Beeline platform-related tasks quickly and easily is a paramount advantage. And efficiently initiating and managing contingent workforce requests and assignments is key to your success. Using Beeline Assistant, you can leverage your request and assignment history and complete common tasks with just a few clicks!

Action Required: Because Beeline Assistant is built on Beeline’s Cloud technologies, your organization must migrate to the Cloud and Auth0.Migrating to Auth0 may require an amendment to your Beeline contract. Contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) or Relationship Manager (RM) to find out what’s involved and how to proceed.

After your organization migrates to Auth0, open a Make a Change ticket. Then your Client Operations Manager (COM) can set up your Beeline platform with Beeline Assistant. Contact your COM for more information.

As a Hiring Manager, you can use Beeline Assistant as soon as you Beeline platform is configured.

Q2 2021

Additional assignment start date options

With this release, your Beeline platform can be configured so that assignment start dates for billable and non-billable requests/assignments no longer default to the SOW or the project start date. The new configuration improves accurate tracking of workers on project related billable/non-billable requests, and reduces the need for Hiring Managers to amend or update the assignment start date.

Previously, the duration for all non-billable assignments defaulted to the length of the statement of work (SOW) or project, and assignment start dates defaulted to the SOW or project start date. Those default settings work well for requests opened at the beginning of an SOW or a project, but don’t provide an optimal user experience for long-running projects.

For example, you have a project with a three-year duration that started on 01/01/2019. Most workers were onboarded at the start of your project. But two years into your project, you need to onboard additional workers. You need to be able to set the start date for those assignments to reflect the new worker’s actual start date and not default to the start date for your project.

Action Required First open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) so they can configure the assignment start date setting for your organization.

The Default Request Start Date to Project Start Date setting can be configured to use one of these options:

  • The start date defaults to the SOW or the project start date on new requests; default setting.
  • The start date is blank on new requests.

Approvals app

  • To help you make sure timesheet information is recorded correctly, you can drill down to view cost centers and assignment IDs before you approve a timesheet.
  • To improve your user experience, you can leverage information about the milestone payments you’ve previously approved from the Milestone Payment Approvals Historical tab.

Assignments app

  • To improve your search experience, you can search assignments by Contractor name and by Hiring Manager name.
  • To make the user interface easier to understand, the Expired pane was removed and the Pending pane was renamed to Pending Approvals.

Create app

To improve your search experience, these enhancements were made:

  • Job descriptions are excluded when you search by job title.
  • All available SOW templates set up for your organization are included when you’re initiating and search for an SOW.
  • You can filter job titles search results by geography and industry.

Review Candidates app

  • Additional Candidate flags help you instantly identify criteria about submitted Candidates, such as new Candidates you haven’t seen, MSP endorsed Candidates, Candidate with previous history, and much more.

Q3 2021

Approvals app: View Hiring Manager info on timesheets and expenses

View and search by the first or last name of the Hiring Manager responsible for approving a timesheet or an expense from the Approvals app.

Approvals app: Add CDFs & cost allocation details on milestone payment approvals

When you approve a project milestone payment, an additional browser tab opens so you can enter comments, CDFs and cost allocation information. Providing that information helps your organization accurately capture and track and define how costs for each milestone payment are distributed to specific business units.

Project milestone payment CDFs may be configured as required fields. This example shows the Payment Processing Code field, which is a CDF, as required.

To allow you to include pertinent additional data for each milestone payment, the Bulk Approve button is no longer available when you approve milestone payments.

Review Candidates app: Resume Visualizer is available!

Accelerate your resume review process and save hours of Candidate screening time by leveraging Resume Visualizer from the Review Candidates microapp.

Easily understand a Candidate’s potential fit using the smart, condensed extract about a candidate’s experience and skills generated by the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered engine and Natural Language Generated (NLG) process behind Resume Visualizer.

The robust, standardized visual representation of a candidate’s resume helps you quickly scan an industry-first view of the Candidate’s work history, principal skills and industry experience and average time per employer.

TIP:  For locations using languages other than American English, Resume Visualizer is labeled CV Visualizer. CV is the acronym for curriculum vitae.

Q4 2021

Change an offer start date and keep the original end date

Occasionally, you may need to adjust a candidate’s offer start date due to background check delays or other unforeseen circumstances. But you don’t want to change the offer end date nor impact a previously approved budget.

Users can now change a candidate’s offer start date during onboarding without affecting the offer end date or increasing an approved budget. Simply change the offer start date and select the Keep Current End Date checkbox on the Candidate Offer–Accept Offer page.

TIP:  If your offer start date change increases an approved budget, an error displays. You must rescind the existing offer. Then make a new offer for a longer duration with a larger budget and the correct dates.

Action Required: First, open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your COM about updating your Beeline platform to support this enhancement.

Easily manage freeform CDFs while submitting multiple candidates

As a Hiring Manager or a Supplier, you can simultaneously submit multiple candidates to a requisition. Previously when you were submitting multiple candidate records that included freeform text client-defined fields (CDFs), each CDF had to be manually verified and/or edited via a pop-up dialog box.

With this release, freeform CDFs display in separate columns on the Submit Multiple Candidates page so you can quickly and easily edit CDF values inline, before submitting your list of candidates. This enhancement improves your experience by taking less time and fewer clicks to submit multiple candidate records.

TIP: Required freeform CDFs display with an asterisk ( * ) next to the field name.

Action Required: First, open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) about updating your Beeline platform to support this enhancement. Your Beeline platform must be set up to support these options:

  • Request types associated with your requisitions must be configured to allow users to submit multiple candidates.
  • Freeform CDFs must be configured to display in multiple columns for your submit candidate workflows.

New Hiring Manager Experience Home page

As a Hiring Manager, you want to quickly view all your tasks by priority. Now when you open your Hiring Manager Experience using the Try New Experience button, a Home page displays showing your tasks ordered by category and priority.

  • Instantly identify time-sensitive items you want to act on promptly.
  • Immediately see your alerts.
  • Quickly view the progress of your open items, such as requests, SOWs, CBs, and projects.

TIP:  Some of the Home page items were previously located in the Quick Reports microapp. Now they’re readily visible from the Home page.

You also have more room to view those items most important to you…simply collapse or expand the Microapps launchpad to resize the Home page. Plus, your Microapps launchpad size preference is saved and applied the next time you open your Hiring Manager Experience, unless you log in from a different device or browser.

And you can still quickly open any microapp from the Microapps launchpad when you’re ready to act on a task. And while you’re viewing data in a microapp, you can quickly navigate back to the Home page by selecting the Beeline icon near the top of the launchpad.

Approvals app: Respond to even more items that require action

You can already review and approve or reject numerous items from your Beeline platform. Now you can also easily act on these items from the Approvals microapp.

  • Requests Submitted for Approval
  • Assignment Amendments
  • Assignment Extensions

The additional approvals you can view also include approvals delegated to you.

You’ll also notice that approvals are grouped by type with headings to help you easily navigate to a specific item. Plus, an All Approvals link instantly redirects you to your My To Do List in the Beeline platform.

Create app: Easily find and apply filters when you Search Job Titles

The Geography and Industry filters are now immediately visible when you start to create a request using a job title. This enhancement improves your experience by taking less time and fewer clicks to filter job titles before you search for a specific job title.

Quickly initiate a competitive bid and track bids you've started

Experience the convenience of initiating a competitive bid from the Create microapp.

Selecting the Create a Competitive Bid Using a Template link opens a list of competitive bid templates used by your organization. Locate the template you want to use, and then select Get Started.

You can also easily view a list of the competitive bids you’ve created so you can track their progress and status from the Track Progress section of the Home page.

TIP:  If your program uses Beeline’s Services Procurement solution, Hiring Managers automatically see the links for initiating a competitive bid in the Create microapp and the link in the Track Progress section of the Home page. Access to creating a competitive bid is controlled by user permissions set in the Beeline platform.

If your program isn’t using Beeline’s Services Procurement solution, a Make a Change ticket is required to add them to your Beeline platform.

Quick Reports app: Easily find items requiring your action, your alerts & your active projects/SOWs

Previously the following data was available in sections in the Quick Reports microapp: active requests, assignments starting in 30 days, assignments ending in 30 days, active assignment, active SOWs, and active projects.
That data is now readily visible from the Home page in these sections: Action Required, Alerts and Track Progress.

Q1 2021

Alert—upcoming discontinued support for IE 11

Microsoft® plans to sunset Internet Explorer® (IE) 11 effective August 17, 2021. To provide the best possible system performance, security, and compliance to clients and partners, Beeline will discontinue support for Microsoft IE 11 on Friday, March 26, 2021.

TIP:  See Microsoft’s blog for their official announcement.

Although Beeline will discontinue support for IE 11, current Beeline features and functions (except Beeline cloud features) may continue to operate on but are not optimized for the IE 11 browser. After Friday, March 26, 2021, Beeline will not fix defects that occur when you’re using the Beeline platform on IE 11.

NOTE: Currently, Beeline cloud features are not supported on IE 11.

Action Required: To ensure a smooth transition without a loss of functionality, your organization may need to upgrade your browser. Please verify that the browser versions your organization uses are supported against the Beeline Browser Support Policy.

Management Groups available to EU datacenter Clients

Management Groups are now available to Clients that use Beeline’s European Union datacenter.

Web Import tool support inline editing

When validation errors occur or an import fails, MSPs and PMOs can use the Web Import tool to immediately view, edit inline and correct errors in imported data in real time. Use the View Details link under the Content column on an Import page to open the updated Import Results page. MSPs and PMOs can edit only records to which they have access.

Action Required: First, open a Make a Change ticket. Then your Client Operations Manager (COM) can grant MSPs and Program Office users the appropriate permissions.

Next as an MSP or PMO, you can access the Web Import tool import via Self-Service. If you have questions about or need assistance with importing data, contact your Client Operations Manager (COM).

Restrictions: You cannot complete these tasks using inline editing from the Web Import tool:

  • Add new rows of data.
  • Remove existing rows of data.
  • Edit validation passed rows of data.
  • Edit imported data with an Import Partially Failed status.
  • Import successfully validated records when some records in your import dataset failed. For example, your import dataset  includes five records. Three records successfully validated but two records failed, and the overall status of the import is Import Validation Failed. You cannot import the three validated records. You must correct the data and reimport the dataset.

Q2 2021

Manage Interview Manager Interview Types via Self-Service

To ensure that only interview types approved by your program are available to your users, MSPs and PMOs can configure which interview methods are available via Self-Service.

Action Required: First open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) to set up Interview Manager for your organization and grant users access to manage interview methods.

After Interview Manager is set up in your Beeline platform, MSPs and PMOs can manage interview methods via Self-Service.

Q4 2021

Automatically archive approvals

To improve your users’ experience when processing and viewing approvals, your Beeline platform now includes an Approval Data Archive feature.

This feature automatically archives details and data for Completed or Removed approvals with a submit date greater than two years.

TIP:  Approval data is archived only and not deleted.

Approval data is still available in the user interface. And users can navigate to approval history, such as assignments, candidates, and request data, without impact or change to their experience.

Plus, users can gather analytics on archived approval data using the Archived Approvals report. This improvement is automatically available in your Beeline platform.

Securely collect Visa PII during onboarding

To streamline your procurement process and validate a Candidate’s eligibility to work in a specific location prior to onboarding, MSPs and PMOs can securely capture voluntarily disclosed Visa personally identifiable information (PII) in your Candidate Offer and Candidate Onboarding workflows.

  • Visa Type
  • Visa Expiry Date
  • Visa Status

The Visa-related fields in candidate offer and onboarding workflows link to the data in the Resource page and in the Worker profile.

TIP:  To view Visa-related PII data fields while you’re impersonating another MSP or PMO user, both you and the user you’re impersonating must have visibility to the fields.

For example, assume you have permissions to view the Visa-related data fields and you’re impersonating a user who also has permissions, then you can view data in the Visa-related fields.

However, assume you don’t have permissions to view the Visa-related data fields, but you’re impersonating a user who does have permissions. Then you can’t view data in the Visa-related fields because you don’t have the required visibility permissions.

Action Required: First open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) about configuring your Candidate Offer and Candidate Onboarding workflows to include the fields for tracking voluntarily disclosed PII about a Candidate’s Visa.

Your COM must also grant MSP and PMO users access to view and manage voluntarily disclosed PII about a Candidate’s Visa.

Additional Advanced Notification Template fields

MSPs and PMOs can leverage the power of Advanced Notification Templates to manage the look and feel of email notifications generated from Beeline Enterprise. MSPs and PMOs can control who gets notified about what for each step of your business workflows.

These additional fields are available in your Advanced Notification Templates.

  • A Request Modification Comment field is available with the Request core entity type.
  • A Time System Cost Centers field is available with Assignment, Candidate, Group Request, and Request core entity types.

The additional fields are automatically available in your Beeline platform. However, your MSPs and PMOs must configure your Advanced Notification Templates via Self-Service to include them.

Self-Service: Define default values for CDF dropdown lists

Client-defined fields (CDFs) can be used throughout your Beeline platform to capture data specific to your program. And CDF dropdown lists provide  users with several values they can choose from. But some organizations have entries commonly used for their program.

Now your Beeline Administrator can define a default value for CDF dropdown lists via Self-Service. Default values for dropdown CDF lists cascade through and display in all applicable workflows, such as from a requisition to an assignment. However, users can still select a different value from a dropdown CDF list when they need to.

Configuring a default value for CDF dropdown lists ensures that Hiring Managers, MSPs, PMOs, and Suppliers automatically see the entry most commonly used for your program. In addition because your users can automatically accept the default value defined for a CDF dropdown list, this enhancement can save your users’ time when they’re using your Beeline platform.

Action Required: First, open a Make a Change ticket. Then your COM can grant applicable users the necessary permissions.

After permissions have been granted to the applicable users, your Beeline Administrator can define a default value for dropdown CDFs via Self-Service.

TIP:  Default dropdown CDF values are not applied to items already being processed through your Beeline platform.

As a Beeline Administrator, select Self-Service>Data Management and then select Client Defined Field Items Self-Service.

Locate the CDF dropdown list you want to configure, and then locate the value you want to set as the default. Next, select Set as Default.

You can also set a value as the default when you’re creating an entry for a dropdown CDF list.

You can set default values for CDF dropdown lists only. Default values cannot be defined for other CDF types, such as text fields or multiple-selection list boxes. In addition, you can define only one value as the default for a CDF dropdown list.

You cannot set default values for dropdown CDF lists used in your statement of work (SOW) or project templates. However, you can work with your COM to add default values for dropdown CDF lists in Projects to your Services Procurement solution configuration for these items:

  • Requests
  • Candidates
  • Assignments
  • Milestone payments

Quickly find a CDF with autosuggest & Search

Autosuggest is now available to all SOW contributors on client-defined fields (CDFs) used with your SOW module. Autosuggest saves your users time by automatically displaying items in a drop-down list that match what they’re typing.

Plus, users can use the Search icon to look for and quickly find a specific value, which eliminates the need to scroll through long lists for a possible matching entry.

This enhancement is automatically available to organizations using the Services Procurement solution.

Reporting & analytics

Q3 2021

Assignment Definition Assignment ID field update

To provide your users with a consistent experience when creating reports that include the Assignment ID field, the Assignment ID field in the Assignment Definition report is now defined as a numeric value. Now Hiring Managers, MSPs, PMOs, and Suppliers can edit the corresponding column in report data exported as Microsoft Excel® files without incident.

This improvement is automatically available in reports that Hiring Managers, MSPs, PMOs, and Suppliers can generate from their Beeline platform.

Easily distinguish exactly which user created a requisition using the Request Definition report

MSPs and PMOs can already quickly see the first and last name of the user who created a requisition by including the Created By User field in their Request Definition reports. Now MSPs and PMOs can also include a Created By Username field that shows the username of the user who created a requisition. Viewing the username helps  MSPs and PMOs easily distinguish which user created a requisition when multiple users have the same first and last names.

For example, assume your organization has three users named John Smith and each John Smith has a unique username in your Beeline platform. Now including the Created By User and the Created By Username fields in your Request Definition report shows you: John Smith JnSmith01, John Smith JnSmith02 and John Smith JnSmith03.

This improvement is automatically available in Request Definition reports that MSPs and PMOs can generate from their Beeline platform.

Gather analytics about your SOW geographies

MSPs and PMOs can gather analytics about where an SOW is being implemented by including the Geography Name, Geography Description and Is Active fields in their Services Procurement–SOW reports. The Geography Name displays the geographical location, the Geography Description displays an explanation of the geographical location and the Is Active field indicates whether the geographical location is available in the Beeline platform.

This improvement is automatically available in Services Procurement–SOW reports that MSPs and PMOs can generate from their Beeline platform.

Scheduled Report email notifications

To ensures that all MSP and PMO recipients correctly receive email notifications about Scheduled Reports, scheduled Report email notifications are now separately sent to each individual recipient’s email address. This change also eliminates the need to restrict the number intended MSP and PMO recipients due to a 255-character limit in the Recipient field.

This improvement is automatically available in scheduled report email notifications to MSPs and PMOs.

View security project–cost center data in timesheet reports

To help your users accurately track timesheets to projects, work breakdown structure (WBS) charge codes and cost centers, the Operational Timesheet and the Timesheet (BTE) reports now include these fields and filters.

  • Security Project–Cost Center Name
  • Security Project–Cost Center Number

This improvement is automatically available in timesheet reports that Hiring Managers, MSPs, PMOs, and Suppliers can generate from their Beeline platform.

Sourcing

Q1 2021

Direct Sourcing: CDFs are supported with the Candidate Submission API

Curators, MSPs and PMOs can now use the Candidate Submission API to collect and synchronize CDFs required for candidate submission. Currently, these types of CDFs are supported: attachments, checkboxes, currency, dates, integers, list boxes, strings, and text.

Action Required: First open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) so they can make sure your Direct Sourcing configuration is updated.

Direct Sourcing: New Candidate Submission API webhooks

The Candidate Submission API includes two new webhooks that transmit real-time updates about submitted candidates.

  • The Application Submitted to the VMS and Approved webhook alerts your curator when a candidate was successfully submitted.
  • The Application Submitted to the VMS but failed webhook alerts your curator when a candidate was unsuccessfully submitted. Failed submissions include an explanation so your Curator knows whether he or she can resubmit a candidate.

Action Required: First open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) so they can make sure your Direct Sourcing configuration is updated.

Direct Sourcing: Global-workforce enhancements

  • Set up different Payroll Suppliers and markup fees by talent pool. Now you have the flexibility to find the best payroll provider or negotiate the best rates in different countries based on where talent is sourced.
  • Route requests to a specific private talent pools based on the country or group of countries associated with the physical work location and ensure your Curators are working on the appropriate requests.
  • Support for monthly rates.
  • Source candidates and process transactions in Singapore—Singapore is a supported country and the Singapore dollar is a supported currency. Your Direct Sourcing solution is already supported in these countries: France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Action Required: First open a Make a Change ticket. Then your Client Operations Manager (COM) so they can make sure your Direct Sourcing configuration is updated.

Q3 2021

Add multiple attachments to an SOW

MSPs and PMOs can simultaneously add up to three attachments at a time to a statement of work (SOW) during a scouring event. MSPs and PMOs can repeat adding three attachments until they have reached the maximum of 20 files.

MSPs and PMOs can upload attachments from these tabs:

  • General Info
  •  Terms
  • Add Milestone
  • Add Unit of Measure

This enhancement improves MSPs’ and PMOs’ user experience and saves time by making it easier to upload supporting documents for an SOW.

Control visibility & access with more Contributor Types

Using Contributor Types can improve your SP user’s experience by ensuring that they have the appropriate access to complete their competitive bid and SOW-related tasks. With this release, additional Contributor Types are supported delivering greater flexibility and control over user access to competitive bid and SOW information.

TIP: Your organization may use other terminology to identify Contributor Types.

Each of the following Contributor Types can be configured to meet your organization’s needs: Executive Sponsor, HR, Legal, Project Management, and Stakeholder. Here’s an example of how you might use the new Contributor Types.

Legal—assigned to contract management teams or members of your legal counsel so they can review the contract terms of an SOW for compliance and adherence to your program’s policies, legal language and contractual clauses prior to the final SOW approval.

Action Required: First open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) about adding the new Contributor Types to your Competitive Bid and SOW modules.

You’ll work with your COM to define these features for each of the new Contributor Type you choose to use:

  • Whether the new Contributor Types are assigned to predefined user roles or whether a user can be assigned to one of the new Contributor Types by the SOW owner from the Contributors tab on an SOW Details page.
  • User visibility and access—what users with that Contributor Types can see, what they can edit, and what they can act on.
  • Which Approval workflows are triggered by each new Contributor Type’s review and approval.

Use SOW Mass Change to simultaneously cancel multiple draft SOWs

MSPs and PMOs need to ensure that statements of work (SOWs) in their program are processed in a timely manner or closed when no longer needed. SOWs left in a Draft  status can create inaccurate metrics in reports and on dashboards.

Now MSPs and PMOs can simultaneously close SOWs with a Draft status from the SOW List page. MSPs and PMOs can select Preferences>VMS Settings>Statement of Work to navigate to the Statement of Work Configuration page. Then choose SOW Mass Change to go to the SOW List page.

Action Required: This enhancement is automatically available to organizations using Beeline’s Services Procurement solution.

If your organization is not using the Services Procurement solution, open a Make a Change ticket. Then contact your Client Operations Manager (COM) to configure the Services Procurement solution for your organization. In addition, your COM must grant the appropriate permissions for managing SOW settings to your MSPs and PMOs.
