Track and analyze contingent workforce headcount over time.
Beeline Analytics enables Program Management Office (PMO) users to monitor and analyze contingent workforce headcount through interactive dashboards and visual reports. It provides a centralized view of headcount data so you can understand how many workers are active, when assignments start and end, and how workforce levels change over time.
You can use headcount metrics—such as starting, ending, and active headcount—to evaluate workforce activity, compare trends across time periods, and support workforce planning and program oversight.
Starting Headcount
What is it? Shows you the total active headcounts on the first date in the trend period you define.
Why would I use it? Helps you understand how many contingent workers began assignments on the first date in the trend period you define.
What’s a good value? Low or high numbers might be good based on your business requirements and model. For example, starting headcount may vary when you’re starting a project, building a project and maintaining a project. High starting headcount at the beginning of a project might indicate you planned accordingly.
What value drives or constrains the trend period interval? The assignment start date occurs on or before the first date and the assignment end date occurs on or after the last date in the trend period you define.

Ending Headcount
What is it? Shows you the total active headcounts on the last date in the trend period you define.
Why would I use it? Helps you understand how many contingent workers completed assignments on the last date in the trend period you define.

Active Headcount PY
What is it? Shows you the total number of headcount assignments with assignment start and end dates during the previous year. Cancelled assignments are excluded from the totals.
If you’re analyzing monthly trends and the last month is in progress, Active Headcount PY shows you the previous year’s total for the entire month. For example, assume you’re analyzing monthly trends on February 15, 2023. Active Headcount PY shows you data for February 1, 2022, through February 28, 2022.
Why would I use it? Help you understand trends in your usage of contingent workers in the current year compared to the previous year.
