Analyze request rates to compare planned and actual costs.

Beeline Analytics enables Program Management Office (PMO) users to analyze request rate data across their contingent workforce program. It tracks the bill rates associated with assignments and provides a consistent view of rate data within a defined trend period.

Request Rate visualizations include assignments with valid rate data and show how rates vary across your program. You can use this data to compare estimated request rates with actual bill rates and review how rate values align with your workforce planning and spend expectations.

Above Request Rate

What is it? Shows you the percentage of requisitions with bill rates that exceed the request rate for assignments with start dates within the trend period you define.

Why would I use it? Examining requisitions with bill rates higher than the request rate helps you understand trends where onboarded Talent is costing you more than you expected. You may find the trend applies to a specific industry or work location. You can explore key drivers for rate compliance and consider whether you want to adjust your rates.

What’s a good value? Low values are good. They indicate your estimated rates align with your budget and your actual rates.

What value drives or constrains the trend period interval? The assignment start date must occur within the trend period you define.

How do I recreate in an ad hoc report?

To compare the request and assignment rates in ad hoc reports, you need to create two reports: Assignment and Request.

Creating the Assignment Report

  1. From your Admin dashboard, select Report Gallery.
  2. Locate the Assignment Base Report, and then select Run.
  3. From the Fields tab, choose these fields as columns:
    • Assignment ID
    • Assignment Start Date
    • Assignment Bill Rate
    • Request ID
  4. From the Filters tab, apply these filters:
    • Assignment Start Date is within the selected period.
    • Add any other optional filters or slicers you applied during the Beeline Analytics session.
  5. After you define the Assignment Start Date parameter, select Run Report.

Creating the Request Report

  1. From the Report Gallery, locate the Request Base Report, and then select Run.
  2. From the Fields tab, choose these fields as columns:
    • Request ID
    • Request Start Date
    • Request Bill Rate
  3. From the Filters tab, apply these filters:
    • Request Create Date is within the selected period.
    • Add any other optional filters or slicers you applied during the Beeline Analytics session.
  4. After you define the Request Start Date parameter, select Run Report.
  5. Use the Request ID as the unique identifier and compare the assignment and request bill rates for those requests from both reports.

Below Request Rate

What is it? Shows you the percentage of requisitions with bill rates lower than the request rate for assignments with start dates within the trend period you define.

Why would I use it? Examining requisitions with bill rates lower than the request rate helps you understand where you’re spending less for onboarded Talent than you expected. You may find a trend that applies to a work location or a Hiring Manager. You can explore key drivers and consider how to take advantage of consistently lower bill rates.

What’s a good value? High values are good. They indicate your estimated rates are below your actual rates and that you’re spending less than you planned for contingent Talent.

What value drives or constrains the trend period interval? The assignment start date occurs within the trend period you define.

Equal to Request Rate

What is it? Shows you the percentage of requisitions where the bill and request rates are the same for assignments with start dates within the trend period you define.
