Product

Early Access (Phase)

Product development lifecycle stage where these criteria are met for a product/feature:

• Minimum viable product (MVP) with significant development is complete

• MVP functions end-to-end

• MVP is ready for Early Access Clients/Adopter to use and provide feedback.

Beeline doesn't guarantee completeness of the MVP and service-level agreements (SLAs) do not apply. 

Early Access Client/Adopter

A client that has agreed to subscribe/use a product in the Early Access phase as part of a defined Early Access Program.

Early Access Program

Also called an EAP.

Objectives driven timeframe in which Early Access Clients/Adopters use an MVP. Clients are aware of the following criteria for an EAP:

• Service-level agreements (SLAs) don't apply during an Early Access phase

• The product is an MVP and isn't guaranteed to be complete

• They will provide feedback to help improve the product

Earning Code

aka pay code

An attribute of the rate that differentiates the different bill rates associated with a contract worker. Examples include regular time rate, overtime rate, or double-time rate. The rate agreed upon by the Supplier and billed on an invoice.

Eligibility

Evaluation against the stated requirements.

Email Digest

A Beeline feature that consolidates multiple emails per user address into one delivered email per a configured timeframe.

Acronym to identify the Europe, Middle East, and Africa globalization region.

End Date

The final date of an assignment; the last date the contingent worker is scheduled to work.

End User License Agreement

EULA

The EULA is the legally binding contract between a software provider and the person who uses it.

Engagement Manager

Person responsible for all billing and invoicing of the client and managing client expectations. Usually, she or he also own all accounts payable issues arising from the project.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics defines an engagement manager as a management consultant.

Enterprise Resource Planning

ERP 

An integrated suite of business applications, such as finance, HR, distribution and supply chain, that Beeline typically integrates with to obtain client information such as, user community, cost center structure, etc.

ERP software includes SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Ariba (Ariba is also known as an e-procurement tool).

Obtaining a signature for a SOW through an electronic format, for example via DocuSign.

EULA

End User License Agreement

A legal agreement every end user must accept the first time he/she logs on to an online software application, for example Beeline Enterprise.

Evaluation

Overall assessment of the worker once the assignment has been completed or during offboarding (provides an assessment of the worker’s performance)

The users reviewing suppliers' bids in during the Competitive Bid process.

Executive Search

Informally called headhunting.

A specialized recruitment service where organizations pay to seek out and recruit highly qualified candidates for senior-level and executive jobs, such as President, Vice-president, or CEO.

Recruitment of executive level resources on a full-time and/or permanent basis. Typically, at the executive level and the individual's cultural and management fit within the client company.

Expenses

Offset (an item of expenditure) as an expense against taxable income, such as travel.

External ID

A client’s unique identification for a worker used to identify the worker and to align profile records when data is transferred using import and/or feed files.

It helps coordinate the Beeline Platform with various client-side systems used to track contract workers.
