Create and manage messages users see in a banner notification on top of each page after they log on.

Tips

  • Don’t use banner or scrolling messages for MSP organizations.
  • Place hyperlinks only at the bottom of the banner; don’t embed links in the message text.
  • Include only one hyperlink per banner message.

How to steps

Information in this article reflects a standard Enterprise configuration. Your Enterprise platform is based on your organization’s configuration. Settings and/or data visibility rules may vary slightly from what is described.

To accomplish your task, complete these steps from your Enterprise dashboard.

  1. Select Preferences VMS Settings Client Communications. A Client Communications page displays.

  2. Select Banner Configuration. A Banner Message Search page displays.

  3. Select Add New.

  4. Select your target audience from the Organization Type list, such as Client, Supplier.

  5. Use the Start and Time and the End and Time fields to schedule the date and time when the banner turns on and off.

  6. Select the language you want in which you want your message to display.

  7. In the Message field, type your message.

  8. To include a hyperlink, take these steps:
    1. In the Link field, enter the URL.
    2. In the Link Text field, type the text you want to display for the link
  9. Select OK to save your message. It appears in the Messages list near the bottom of the Banner Message Search page. It will also display at the top of the Beeline Enterprise VMS for the selected organization type during the selected date and times.
