Create categories to organize rate structures for different regions or needs

A Rate Card Category 1 value helps organize rate information used by rate cards. Rate Card Category 1 is typically used to specify a geographic region, allowing rates to be grouped and managed according to location. Rate Card Categories provide an additional layer of classification beyond Job Classes and Rate Card Classes and help determine how rates are organized within an Industry.

Before creating rate cards, you may need to create the Rate Card Category 1 values that will be associated with those rates.

Rate Card Categories

Rate Card Categories help organize rate information used throughout workforce procurement. Category 1 is typically used to identify a broad grouping, such as a geographic region. Category 2 may provide additional classification depending on your organization's configuration. Rate Card Category 2 is typically used only when additional classification is required by your organization's configuration.

Category Typical use
Rate Card Category 1 Geographic region or other broad rate grouping
Rate Card Category 2 Additional classification when required by the client's configuration
