Accurate integrations: Provider data exchange errors

The background check provider data process synchronizes candidate records and background check orders between your Beeline Enterprise and your Accurate® integration. Data required to create a candidate record and to initiate a background check order is sent from Enterprise to your Accurate integration.

Information in this article reflects a standard Enterprise configuration. Your Enterprise platform is based on your organization’s configuration. Settings and/or data visibility rules may vary slightly from what is described.

Background check provider data exchange process

 

This topic outlines integration errors that might occur while the data required to create a candidate record and to initiate a background check order is being exchanged between Beeline Enterprise and Accurate. Recommended actions and remediation steps are included.

Invalid API Base URL

Beeline was unable to establish a successful connection to the configured API Base URL. The configured API Base URL was either invalid or doesn’t exist.

Error message

Received error HTTP response. Status Code: NotFound. Response Body: {"errors":[{"code":"107",

"message":"invalid resource","param":null}]}

Recommended action

Review and confirm that the correct Accurate API Base URL is configured in the Provider Account Settings for the Supplier.

Remediation steps

  1. From Enterprise, select Preferences > VMS Settings > Contingent Staffing.

  2. From the Contingent Staffing page, select Background Check Provider Settings.

  3. Locate and select the supplier account associated with the failed synchronization integration.

  4. Review the configured value for the Provider Base Location URL on the View Background Check Provider page.

 

Invalid Authentication Credentials (Client ID, Sub Company ID, Client Secret)

Beeline was unable to authenticate into the Accurate API URL due to invalid credentials.

Error message

Access denied. The credentials do not provide access to the requested resource.

Recommended action

Review and confirm that the correct Accurate API credentials are configured in the Provider Account Settings for the Supplier.

Remediation steps

  1. From Enterprise, select Preferences > VMS Settings > Contingent Staffing.

  2. From the Contingent Staffing page, select Background Check Provider Settings.

  3. Locate and select the supplier account associated with the failed synchronization integration.

  4. Review the configured values for the Client ID, Sub Company ID, and Secret Key on the View Background Check Provider page.

 

Missing Required Background Check Provider Account Fields

Beeline was unable to establish a connection to the Accurate API URL because data is missing from required fields. These fields are required when configuring Provider Background Check Account Settings: API Base URL, Client ID, Sub-Company ID, Secret Key, and Email.

Error message

Background Check Provider Data not configured for provider ID <AccurateAccountName>.

Recommended action

Contact your Beeline representative and/or create a support ticket.

Remediation steps

  1. Navigate to Beeline’s website.

  2. From the Navigation ribbon, select Support.

  3. From the Customer service and support page, select Request Assistance under Beeline Support.

  4. Select the type of assistance you need.

  5. Include the Beeline Background Checks–Accurate Integration in the description of your support ticket.

 

Missing Required Candidate Fields

Beeline was unable to create a new Candidate record in Accurate because data is missing from required fields. These fields are required when creating a new resource: First Name, Last Name, and Email.

Error message

Missing required field(s): lastName, firstName, email.

Recommended action

Contact your Beeline representative and/or create a support ticket.

Remediation steps

  1. Navigate to Beeline’s website.

  2. From the Navigation ribbon, select Support.

  3. From the Customer service and support page, select Request Assistance under Beeline Support.

  4. Select the type of assistance you need.

  5. Include the Beeline Background Checks–Accurate Integration in the description of your support ticket.

 

Accurate Max Field Length Validation

Beeline was unable to create a new Candidate or background check order record in Accurate due to max field length validations. Acceptable Accurate fields lengths are as follows:

Error Message: Field(s) exceeded maximum length: firstName, lastName, referenceCode

Recommended action

Review and confirm that the character length of the candidate first name, last name, or email does not exceed the allowable maximum length. If the error persists, contact your Beeline representative and/or create a support ticket.

Remediation steps

  1. From your Beeline platform, select to Manage Search>Resource Pool.

  2. Search for and select the Candidate’s resource profile with the integration failure.

  3. Review the character length for the First Name, Last Name, and Email values.

OR

  1. Navigate to Beeline’s website.

  2. From the Navigation ribbon, select Support.

  3. From the Customer service and support page, select Request Assistance under Beeline Support.

  4. Select the type of assistance you need.

  5. Include the Beeline Background Checks–Accurate Integration in the description of your support ticket.

 

Malformed API JSON Response

Beeline was unable to process the response retrieved from Accurate while creating or retrieving a Candidate record or a background check order record. The response payload either contains an invalid property or isn’t in the correct JSON format.

Error message

Error in Deserializing Accurate Response.

Recommended action

Contact your Beeline representative and/or create a support ticket.

  1. Navigate to Beeline’s website.

  2. From the Navigation ribbon, select Support.

  3. From the Customer service and support page, select Request Assistance under Beeline Support.

  4. Select the type of assistance you need.

  5. Include the Beeline Background Checks–Accurate Integration in the description of your support ticket.

 

Provider Internal Server Error

Beeline was unable to establish a successful connection to the configured Accurate API URL. This is a generic error message.
