Administration Tenure Rate Amendments

Tracking and managing tenure for your contingent talent usually involve rate changes. Now your Program Office can leverage a powerful rules-based engine to automatically adjust pay rates, bill rates or markup based on criteria they define.
Users have versatility and control when setting up rules around tenure. They can set up rules to calculate tenure duration based on the worker or just based on the assignment.
Plus, users can account for variations in tenure adjustments by grouping rules and defining differences in rate adjustments percentages based on industry, job title, supplier, and much more. In addition, users can easily gather analytics on tenure using the Assignment Definition report.

Administration Tenure Rate Amendments: Exempt multiple assignments

Beeline’s Mass Amendments component provides the same accuracy and flexibility as amending a single assignment in Beeline Enterprise but simplifies making changes to multiple assignments. Mass Amendments also integrates with the Tenure Rate Amendments rules-based engine to automatically adjust pay rates, bill rates or markup based on criteria your program office defines.

You can already easily exempt individual assignments from tenure. And now you can also conveniently exempt multiple assignments from tenure and from tenure rate adjustments when you use Mass Amendments. Just use the Amend Assignments quick link on the Select Assignments to Amend page, and then use the Tenure Exemption and/or the Is Exempt from Tenure Rate Adjustments lists in the Amendment section on the Mass Amendment page. Administration Tenure Rate Amendments: Error resolution

Beeline’s Mass Amendments component integrates with the Tenure Rate Amendments rules-based engine to automatically adjust pay rates, bill rates or markup based on criteria your program office defines. When your organization has set up Tenure Rate Amendment Rules, mass amendment batch transactions are automatically created and processed when rules are applied to assignments.

Occasionally a tenure rate amendment rule may no longer apply to an assignment, but a tenure rate amendment mass amendment batch transaction was already created. In that scenario, the corresponding batch transaction fails, and an Error Mass Amendment Status with a Tenure Rate Amendment Event Type display for the transaction when viewed on the Assignment Amendment Progress page.

You can quickly resolve the error using the Resolve Failed TRA link on the Assignment Amendment Progress page and ensure that any dependent subsequent amendments process smoothly. Read this article to learn how.

Administration Tenure Rate Amendments: Additional reporting

Beeline’s Tenure Rate Amendment gives your program office a powerful rules-based engine to automatically adjust pay rates, bill rates or markup based on criteria they define.

Users can already gather analytics on tenure using the Assignment Definition report. And now they can get easily more details about tenure rate amendments from the Approval Approver–Assignment and the Approvals–Assignment reports. Only approvers can view data on assignments they approved in the Approval Approver–Assignment report.

Later this year we plan to enhance DocuSign to support integration with your talent management workflows. In preparation, we’ve added an eSignature Settings Landing page to the self-service administration.

As an MSP or a Beeline Administrator, you’ll see the eSignature Settings Landing page when you select Preferences > VMS Settings > eSignature Settings from your Beeline Enterprise dashboard. Then you can select Account Management to administer the details of your DocuSign account.

Enterprise configuration and user permissions are required if your organization hasn’t already integrated your SOW module with DocuSign.

Hiring managers with the appropriate permissions can quickly create and submit an offer for the candidate of their choice from the Candidates app. They can simply select the Submit Offer from the Take Action menu to create and submit an offer for approval.
This enhancement improves hiring managers’ experience by consolidating the tasks and work they need to do in a single app.

TIP: The Submit Offer action is automatically available in the Candidate app in Beeline Enterprise based on your organization's Beeline Classic configuration. If Hiring managers are authorized to create and submit offers in Beeline Classic, the Submit Offer action is available. Allowing hiring managers to create and submit offers in Beeline Classic requires Beeline Enterprise configuration.

The What’s New dialog automatically displays each time you log in for 90 consecutive days. Use the Don’t show this again checkbox to dismiss the dialog; it won’t display the next time you log in. The What’s New dialog will display again when there’s a new announcement, and you can still view announcements any time you want using the What’s New button.

Your Hiring Manager Experience includes Product Release Announcements that automatically display in the app. You can control when to move to the next slide and move forward and backward through announcements at your own pace. We streamlined the layout and design so you can instantly view more information when you’re evaluating candidates. Plus, we added these data points to help you review the request to which the candidates are submitted: start date, position duration and number of openings.

As a hiring manager, you want to complete daily tasks in Beeline Enterprise fast and proficiently. We enhanced the Create app so you can do that!
Here’s what we changed to save you time and be more efficient:

  • Show you the geography and industry filters only when you have more than one geography or industry to choose from.
  • Let you filter by geography and industry and find the job title that meets your needs faster when creating a tracked resource request, SOW, or competitive bid.
  • Create a new tracked resource requisition based on a previous request using the Copy Previous Request button.
  • Spend less time choosing the transaction you want to initiate by leveraging the help text on each card in the Create app.

As a hiring manager reviewing candidates, you want to get to look at all the information related to a candidate quickly. Now you can easily download attachments associated with multiple candidates with just a few clicks. After you drill down into a request from the Candidates app, you can quickly select the candidates you want and then download all of their attachments using the Download Attachments button.

As a hiring manager, you may be assigned tasks by another user in your organization. Your Hiring Manager Experience already has labels in the Candidates app and the Approvals app to help you quickly detect delegated candidate-related tasks and approvals. 
The user’s name who delegated an action to you is well-marked and noticeable. Plus, Delegated By labels also display on pages in the Additional Approvals category in the Approvals app.

As a hiring manager, it’s critical that you keep track of any delegations you’ve set up so that the work you’re responsible for isn’t delayed. Now, you can immediately see when you have a delegation that will expire in 30 days from the Hiring Manager Experience Home page. Selecting the link opens the My Account page with the Delegates tab selected by default. This proactive notification gives you plenty of time to renew or reassign responsibilities.

As a Hiring Manager, you need simple immediate access to items you need to review and approve. And you need visibility into details.

You can instantly view the total estimated amount for a submitted timesheet before you approve it. A Total Estimated Amount field displays in the timesheet summary on both the Card and Table views. Plus, you can select the Amount link to open an Estimated Amount Breakdown dialog to see details for the entire timesheet. These enhancements are automatically available in the Approvals app in the Hiring Manager Experience.

Hiring Manager Experience My Data app: Visibility enhancements

As a hiring manager, you can access crucial information for all the work you manage, either directly or indirectly, from the My Data app. For example, you can view and act on your own data, data delegated to you, your subordinates’ data, and data where you’re a requestor, a timesheet approver, a sponsor, or a contributor.

To help you manage all the data you have access to, we’ve added these enhancements.

  • A Visibility Settings filter you can use to choose how you want to view data.
  • A Setup delegate option you can use to designate a delegate and allow them to manage and act on your data.
  • A Visibility icon you can use to instantly understand why you’re seeing specific data; for example, because you’re the hiring manager, the hiring manager’s direct manager, or the requestor, timesheet approver, sponsor, or contributor.

Hiring Manager Experience My Data app: More visibility enhancements

We’ve expanded visibility in the Hiring Manager Experience to include additional user types in your organization:

  • Services Procurement Project Managers now have access to view requests and assignments linked to their projects.
  • Services Procurement Technical Managers can now view Statements of Work (SOW) and projects, along with related requisitions and assignments.

Both user types can conveniently access their requisitions, assignments, and services procurement data through the My Data app and Global Search.
Additionally, hiring managers can now view project-level data assigned to their subordinates directly from the My Data app and Global Search enhancing transparency and collaboration across teams.

Hiring Manager Experience Requestors and timesheet approver visibility

In addition to hiring managers, your organization might have these user types who need visibility into data in the Hiring Manager Experience: requestor and timesheet approver. Now, requestors and timesheet approvers can view and act on data from the Hiring Manager Experience. Requestors can access their request and assignment data from the Track Progress section on the Home page, the My Data app and Global Search. Timesheet approvers can access their assignment data from the Track Progress section on the Home page, the My Data app and Global Search.
These enhancements are automatically available in the Hiring Manager Experience.

Services Procurement Project Resource Transfer: Further integrated in Enterprise

The Project Resource Transfer feature now works seamlessly with other Beeline Enterprise components. Project managers can easily view and act on project resource transfers pending approval under the Additional Approvals category in the Approvals app in the Hiring Manager Experience. Program office users can use the new Project Resource Transfer core entity type in Advanced Notification Templates (ANTs) to ensure approvers receive timely notifications about submitted transfers. Program office users can also report on transferred resources and assignments using the Project Resource Transfer Details report available from a project profile, and the Assignment Definition and the Projects and Services Definition reports.

Services Procurement Assign default resource types for Auto Extend Resource Assignments

You can use the Auto Extend Active Assignments checkbox while editing a project or amending a statement of work (SOW) to automatically extend active project assignments. Your organization can now define a default resource type so appropriate resource assignments are automatically extended.

Adding this enhancement lets you automate extensions for active nonbillable, active billable, or active nonbillable and billable resources. The Auto Extend Resource Assignments feature requires Beeline Enterprise configuration.
