Do we have to integrate Enterprise with Microsoft® Outlook to use this Outlook Calendar Invite Notifications enhancement?
No. But you must be using Outlook, Enterprise’s Interview Manager and Enterprise’s Interview Manager - Interview Accepted Advanced Notification Template.
Can we use Outlook Calendar Invite Notifications with other email systems like Gmail?
No. This feature is specific to Outlook.
Who are notifications sent to?
The recipients are based on the Interview Accepted approval workflow step, and are usually the supplier, hiring manager, attendees, and the program office.
Are the notifications different if all recipients are not using Outlook? For example, if the hiring manager uses Outlook but the supplier doesn’t.
No. The notification content is the same. But notifications sent to recipients who aren’t using Outlook automatically include an .ics file that must be manually downloaded and imported into the user’s calendar.
What happens if all recipients are not using Outlook? For example, if the hiring manager uses Outlook but the supplier doesn’t.
For recipients who aren't using Outlook, the interview invitation isn’t immediately added to calendars. Instead, an .ics file is included in the notification.
Will invitations be updated or removed when an interview is updated or cancelled?
Not at this time.
Will attachments on an interview invitation be automatically included in the Outlook Calendar Invite Notification?
Not at this time.
What interview details are included in an Outlook Calendar Invite Notification?
Your system administrator can configure which fields are included in the Interview Manager - Interview Accepted Advanced Notification Template via self-service. By default, these fields are included:
