Monitoring tenure rate amendment transactions

You can monitor tenure rate amendment transactions to verify that rates on an assignment were adjusted when and as you expected.

To monitor tenure rate amendment transactions, complete these steps from your Enterprise dashboard.

  1. Select Preferences > VMS Settings > Contingent Staffing. A Contingent Staffing page displays.
  2. Expand the Tenure Rate Amendments menu, and then select Monitor Amendments. A Tenure Rate Amendments Monitoring page displays.

  3. Use the available filters to narrow down the list of amended assignments. You can choose from these filters:

    • Assignment ID
    • Contractor
    • Assignment Supplier
    • Assignment Status
    • Tenure Rate Amendment Rule
    • Tenure Rate Amendment Effective Date greater than or equal to
    • Tenure Rate Amendment Status
    • Mass Amendment Status
  4. Hover over the Help icon to view additional information about an amended assignment.

  5. Optional. Use the Assignment ID or the Tenure Rate Amendment Rule links to drill down into more details.

Resolving tenure rate amendment transactions

If your organization has set up Tenure Rate Amendment Rules, mass amendment batch transactions are automatically created and processed when rules are applied to assignments. When multiple rules apply to the same assignment, individual batch transactions are created and processed so each rule is applied separately.

Occasionally a tenure rate amendment rule may no longer apply to an assignment, but a tenure rate amendment mass amendment batch was already created. In that scenario, the corresponding tenure rate amendment transaction fails, and a Failed Tenure Amendment Status with a Tenure Rate Amendment Event Type display for the transaction when viewed from the Tenure Rate Amendment Monitoring page.

You can quickly resolve the error and ensure that any subsequent dependent amendments are processed smoothly.

To resolve Tenure Rate Amendment errors, complete these steps from your Enterprise dashboard.

  1. Select Preferences > VMS Settings > Contingent Staffing. A Contingent Staffing page displays.
  2. Expand the Tenure Rate Amendments menu, and then select Resolve Failures. A Failed Tenure Rate Amendments page displays.

  3. From the Failed Amendments list at the bottom of the page, select the checkbox next to the batch transaction with the error you want to resolve. You can select more than one batch.

  4. Select the Resolve Failures link. A Resolve Failed Tenure Rate Amendments page displays.
  5. Select a status from the Assignment TRA Status list.

Enter an explanation in the Comment field.

  6. Select the Resolve Failed TRA link.

That’s it! You’ve resolved the error, and any dependent subsequent amendments can be processed smoothly.

Although the error is resolved, the batch transaction record remains in an Error Mass Amendment Status with a Tenure Rate Amendment Event Type.
